I've spent some time on the site - it's enough to make you "THROWUP"! There is a NYS pensioner making over $650,000 per year - yes that is the correct amount - as he knows the in's and out's of a totally screwed up system. The pensions that go out for over $150,000/yr. are endless. So what are we to do? Most of the NYS pensions - employee, elected officals, teachers, etc. get are so lucratic they actually make more $$$$$ retired (55) than working - as they pay NO NYS INCOME TAX. Hope you all filed April 15th so this scam can continue! If you ever talk to a retired NYS worker and they cry the blues - just say to yourself - your retirement suffers (401K) as his/hers blossoms with your tax dollars supporting the Platnium plan they ALL have. You see when the NYS mismanaged retirement system falls short of funds - YOU, the taxpayer makes up the differance. I'm sure you have no problem with that as someone has made up the differance you lost over the past 10 months in your 401K! What is it going to take for us to WAKE UP! Ever year govt. workers, right down to the dude who picks up your scrap once a year - always gets a raise - min. 3% per year - something I'm sure you get. Plus they get heath coverage - Oh well that's only a few bucks!
