Inauguration Day
Regardless of your political affiliation, tomorrow's Inauguration of President Obama is an historic occasion. And if the tv coverage is any indication, this is the most-hyped event in the past few months!

We plan to watch the events on television with the kids. It seems so fitting to spend the time with them to make sure they understand the importance. So...I decided to make a special "inauguration" dinner to make it more special. I asked the kids to help me plan it and we shopped for it today. I find it so funny that they chose what they did. I was thinking on a red, white, and blue (?how I would incorporate this I didn't know) theme but they dismissed that immediately. Maybe our dessert can be more patriotic. Here's to the future! And God bless the Obama's, they will need it in today's wacky world.
